This design is available as a made-to-order quilt.
12 squares are arranged in a 3 x 4 grid in the top left corner of the quilt. A single kangaroo is 'hole-punched' out of the centre of each.
These loose kangaroo silhouettes (15 total) are randomly placed in a loose wave, diagonally stretching from the top right corner to the bottom left.
In the bottom right corner, 2 larger kangaroo silhouettes stand facing one another.
Rising from the bottom of the quilt (towards the left) is a single Australian wildlife road sign on a steel pole, depicting a kangaroo with "Next 7 km" below.
The road sign is solid bright yellow with black details (of course).
The base is a solid black fabric, which shows through the 'hole-punched' shapes in the squares.
The squares themselves and the kangaroo silhouettes are shades of grey, russet, orange, tan, brown and yellow.
Inspired by both the Australian Outback and the various fur colours of Kangaroos.
An all-over 'gum leaf and gum nuts' design using black cotton thread.
Queen Bed Quilt (2.1 m x 2.3 m).
Made with 100% cotton fabrics and wadding.
Washing machine- and dryer-friendly.
Layout and quantities of squares, silhouettes and road sign will change depending on selected quilt size.
Fabrics may vary from those displayed in images due to availability.
