    Design:

    A paper-pieced design made to resemble 13 off-set origami cranes, constructed from different Asia-inspired fabrics on a solid black background.

    Inspired by Japanese culture, that states paper cranes symbolise peace and healing during challenging times.

     

    Colours:

    Each paper crane is a different patterned fabric depicting flowers, bamboo, insects, peacock feathers, fans and porcelain patterns, and they collectively range every colour of the rainbow.

    They're surrounded by a golden yellow border with crane fabric squares in the corners.


    Type:

    Paper-pieced

     

    Quilting:

    An all-over swirl design done in black cotton thread.

    Size:

    Adult Knee Rug (1.5 m x 1.5 m).

     

    Materials: 

    Made with 100% cotton fabrics and wadding.

     

    Maintenance:

    Washing machine- and dryer-friendly.
